Default Ran some juice through her . . .

Went to the track this past Wednesday to test out the new nitrous setup and was . . . impressed to a point.

Basically, I ran a 50 dry shot through her and only gained 5 tenths of a second (1/2 of one second). My mods are in my signature in case anyone wants to know.

I ended up running a 16.2 without juice and a 15.7 running a 50 shot through her. I ran her 5 times with nitrous and 2 without. I know thats alot, but the track was empty and I was out to empty the bottle (which I accomplished).

Anyways, just wanted to see if there was anyone else that has run juice through through 2AZ-FE and what their results were with what shot (wet or dry).

I posted my times on DragTimes.com: http://www.dragtimes.com/Scion-xB-Timeslip-18945.html

What system are you running? Throttle or switch acitvated? I personally would never run a dry shot. A wet system is the safest way to run nitrous.

A dry shot is safe if you use precaution. Still less safe compared to a wet shot.

I put the kIt together myself. It's a switched trigger system.

Are you standard or auto? Just wondering because if you have a 5-speed, do you turn off the nitrous between shifts?

Auto. I originally didn't spray through shifts, but as the night went on, I eventually just kept on spraying through gears.

I actually was starting earlier and earlier as the night when on. I was spraying at about 4k in second and ended up starting at 4k in 1st.

I didn't see much of a difference where I started, but I believe thats because I was loosing bottle pressure the more and more I ran.

Lol was that supposed to be an insult? Hahaha nice one

gaining 5 tenths on a 50 shot isn't bad but the heat is one factor on why I am slower than people in other states

Does that go for your brain as well? Stop thread jacking Cory, we know you have a quick (not fast) xB. Not everyone wants to turbo their rides and nitrous is a cheap way to go faster.

I ran a wet 75 shot zex on my tC and the quarter should have been about mid 14's. Even at 50 it felt pretty fast. I only ran an 1/8th mile event and my lowest was 9.4.

Cory bro... I actually think that little image with the punctuation is kinda funny considering you used to have that in your auto signature on here...

Just trying to help out where needed. As far as 1/4mile times for the xb's go; are they (scions) really that slow? I have a friend that keeps asking me to take my box to the track but I'm not sure if I want to know how fast it really is cuz to me, its quick when I need it. In my own little world it kicks as much a$$ as I need and sometimes more. So I'm not sure if taking it to the track will be a big surprise, or just a reality check that xb's just aren't that fast. Does anyone know what the stock times are for these things?

i ran 16.7 stock at 6000ft above sea level average should be some were in the 16s for a stick low 17 for a auto maybe.
they can be fast it cost money though. here in about 2 weeks i should break into the 12s so we shall see we weigh a little more then a tc less then 100 pounds we have the same drag coefficient but probably a larger frontal area

it can be fast just takes time and money

i have a window switch for sale if your interested though
