Respect, and having a command of the english language, will get you alot farther with a police officer then being an ignorant dick.

The last time I got pulled over, I was doing 65 in a 35. I drove off with a no seat belt warning.

it all depends where you live, i personally speed and have never gotten pulled over, but have been pulled over in cars where im not the driver and most cops are the ignorant dicks. theres a reason why stereotypes exist, its not like i dont thinks that cops serve a purpose for society, but a lot of the times they make mistakes and dont want to admit it so they screw you, instead of acknowledging that they messed up they find something to ticket you, and who;s word is going to hold up more in court a citizen's or a cop's, obviously a cops word carries more weight and they know this,
my friends mom was driving in the carpool with my friends (being 5yrs old at the time) and the cop thought she was driving alone so he pulled her over and when he realized he messed up, instead of apologizing he found some bull____ reason to ticket her,

take mike carona carona for examlpe, need i say more

Lawyer, we all do things we regret. Working the system I'm by all means for. Get a lawyer that works a lot with traffic violations. Most of the time you don't even have to show up in court with the lawyer to fight it. They will just get it dismissed as they meet with traffic judges at least once a week on traffic violations.

I have several customers that are race car drivers and they get out-of tickets all the time. Well worth the 1-2 hours your going to pay them and NO dings on your record.

In the Seattle area the Muckelstone family of lawyers the cops hate. They get their clients out-of tickets all the time.

Or, you can pay the fine and deal with the points on your record and possibility of higher insurance premiums.

I've had 1 ticket in the last 15 years. Well worth the lawyer fees I paid.
