You cant really see it Im assuming you're going to get the header also?

The header looks nice just dont touch it before you turn on the car because you will burn your fingerprints into the stainless.

I wrapped mine...

I heard the heat wrap is good, but isn't there some kind of problem that can occur with it?

I think I'm going to get the ceramic coated strup header. I think it might go good with my tsudo dual catback

it can cause the welds to get really hot and crack but ceramic coating does the same thing.

By resonator, do you mean the scuba tank? (the large 2nd cat in the middle of our exhausts?) If you do, there is an ebay exhaust that will replace it, as well as the rest of the exhaust. Be warned though, if you have headers, and replace the whole rest of the exhaust...be ready for rasp city.

Is there any one besides that whole ebay exhaust kit that replaces the resonator? I have been wanting to replace it and see myself how its sounds. A lot of people told me the weapon r header and s-pipe will make rasp, but it did not. It sounds barely louder than before.

Removing the scuba will make it sound like a motorcycle with an open pipe. It is what keeps rasp down. If you take it out, you will more than likely want to have a resonator put in, which is basically what the scuba is.

Just watch some youtube videos of tc's with headers and cat back exhausts. HORRIBLE rasp unless a giant resonator is installed (which is basically what the scuba is).

Golden toaster went header, s pipe, ebay full exhaust with scuba delete...he removed it the next day. It was horrible.

xb with scuba removed....still has original header...which acts as a slight resonator at least...

here is the axle back only, WITH scuba.

I totally understand wanting to find out for yourself, but please just search around before you do something you may seriously regret, and have to spend more money to fix. Just trying to help a fellow xb owner out.

Edit: the header itself will barely make an audible difference. I just installed one on my stock 09 xb, and could barely tell the difference. Even after doing video comparisons with my d7000 and rode audio microphone, the difference is nominal at best. I have samples in my ebay review thread. That scuba is what is keeping your exhaust fairly quiet and rasp free at the moment. Even with an axle back, it should be fine.
