Default Satellite Ready

So how will this help in hooking up XM Is it just a matter of plugging into AUX? Will I use my Reg Antenna?

That just means your head unit is capable of controlling a satellite receiver. You have to buy the receiver and antenna (normally together) and install them. Your regular antenna will not work.

Here's a link to the installation instructions.

That should give you a pretty good idea what all is involved. chadfo is correct about the "satellite ready" stuff.

The instructions show the satellite receiver box mounted under the front passenger seat. I have seen pictures of a dealer or port install here that show the receiver mounted just above the right front kick panel. There must be enough slack in the antenna wire to shift it up there.

Personally that is where I would put it too. Under the seat looks like too much work and it would be in the way if you wanted to add one of the under seat subs (or anything else).

I just installed the Sirius unit on mine,There might have been just enough antenna wire slack to mount the unit in the kick panel but i mounted it under the seat.
Very easy install, took about an hour.

The oem sirius sounds great but it looses signal easier than the Xact unit i used before.Trees and bridges are where it loses signal.Hopefully i can find a better antenna or booster.
