Default Something funny about want2bsquare

I was looking at want2bsquare and realized it has t2b in it. Which is, for those that don't know, the concept that spawned the 2nd gen xB. Just thought it was funny that the second gen promo name contained the letter number combo of the concept.

Sorry if that's old news and been discussed already. Just thought it was interesting.

Yep, thats where they got the naming for the t2b originally. :D Subtlety in marketing is a big thing with scion.

So was want2bsquare around in 2005? That's when I've read the t2b was first shown. Or did it have another name before want2bsquare? Just curious.

Odd enough scion.com was in existence since Dec. 1995 and set to expire in Dec. 2008.

That's when the registration for the domain name is set to expire, Toyota.com is set to expire at Dec. 08 as well. It's standard practice to register a domain for a certain amount of time, then re-register the domain. If I recall correctly from my IT days, you can only register a domain for 10 years max.

www.scion.com used to be for "Scion Computers", some random store. It looks like in March of 2002, Toyota bought the domain and put up the Scion teaser site. You can look back at every version of www.scion.com at:
