Wife's mad, somehow I managed to scrape the bottom front bumper already, I have no idea where or how. I never had this issue in the 2 subaru's I have owned.

Also noticed that it seems that when people sit in the back, the rear really lowers down ALOT. Are the stock springs super soft?

So that brings me to how much will you scrape (will drive slow as hell over bumps) if you add a minimal drop with stiffer springs and struts? Will the car sag as much with a full load of people?

As you can tell from riding in it, the stock springs are intended to give a soft ride, but the stock height pretty much allows for that IMO. The only situation where I would anticipate risk of scraping the bottom front (particularly the underside) would be if you entered a sharply up-angled driveway/entryway from the street. Of course, scraping the fascia low front or side can result from accidentally contacting a curb or parking spot stop.

Yours is the first report I've heard of people scraping with stock springs even with a full rated load, so I expect you did it on an entryway or curb. Pick up some touchup paint from the dealer and it'll clean up.

Lowering springs such as Tanabe NF210, TRD, and Eibach ProKit all provide a modest lowering and people don't normally report scraping with them, but anytime you change the suspension characteristics, it's especially appropriate to be aware of road conditions, potholes, speed-bumps and the like. Depending on the weights of the adults you're carrying, of course, it's not necessarilly hard to exceed the load specs.

Actually I think it was done on a steep drive out into a main street that I did multiple times in a night turning both left and right out of. Scrapes are diagnol which indicate I was turning. Only my wife and I in the car every time I made those turns. Which is weird because I took it super slow and on an angle. Oh well I suppose, drive like a grandma from now on I guess.
