Yea there are many things you can do.

The TRD Intake is meh, i personally stayed away from the airbox design and went for the Fujita CAI. Decent price, sounds great, and decent performance.

Getting even length header piping... I personally have yet to find aftermarket headers for the 08, but then again i havent looked THAT hard. You get get them custom at most exhaust / muffler shops.

And as for the larger exhaust. be careful on how much bigger you go. If you go to big, your vehicle will actually lose back pressure (Which a non-turbo/supercharged car still needs) resulting in a loss of power.

I personally on mine did away with the resonator/cat assembly on my car, got a 2.5in downpipe and 2.5in exhaust piping with an aftermarket cat. runs great, and sounds great :D

 

The Strup header is now avaiable, but it's not CARB legal.
