Default Steering Wheel Column

Has anyone removed the Steering Wheel Column yet? I noticed that there is no screws on the column like the tC had.....................

Any help would be great...............

the whole column... i dunno. NoLimitzLtd (or something like that) has an aftermarket steering wheel. maybe he knows how to take it all apart

The plastic part that covers all the wires and goes from the steering wheel to the dash

If you mean the plastic cover, it just snaps apart. As always, be careful and don't force it.

It just unsnaps. It isnt hard at all. I just kinda grabbed it down low in the back and started pulling nicely till it popped loose. It has basically the same snaps as the tC without the screws.

I was thinking thats what I had to do but no its confirmed...........................

there is a trick to take it off .. the back is really easy to get off but for the frong get a small flat head screw driver... and where the screws are supposed to be slide the screwdriver into it and push the tab.. do on both sides....its a common problem with the rav4's and the xb's some of the xb's have a hole which makes it easier to just undo the clips.but i do this many times when i have to do remote starts in these cars...
