Default TB Braces

I bought this product thinking it was something nice. I am not happy with this product at all. The trunk brace is hollow flat stock not tubular, the welds are not that great and the mounting holes are not even. Plus is won't fit without me trying to force it. The traction bar i received is bent and not fully welded also hollow flat stock, and the cups are not even. The Mid brace is not that bad but it looks like a lot of spot welds instead of a solid weld. I contacted the company and they do reply fast. They say it is a no return policy which i don't see on there website, also they want me to pay shipping to send the defective traction bar back, packaging is very bad, not worth the money for the braces. Some of the reviews i read were good, but i am going to dispute this order because of bad quality of product and not receiving what was pictured. Ordered 2/17/13 received on 3/18/13. I can post pictures if any one wants. Also i have not installed any of these products i went to test fit the trunk brace and it doesn't even line up. I will keep everyone updated.

That's really weird, I've dealt with Daniel on a few occasions, and found him to be nothing but professional. Not to mention how happy I am personally, and how happy my two friends that have also gotten products from there are. I plan on going back in a few weeks to get some more pieces.
Your claim is so weird, in fact, that I have trouble believing it. Considering that he welded two 4-point braces together into a single 8-point piece, that bolted up with only minimal effort.
Pictured is the brace I'm talking about:

And can you please post some pictures? Especially of the trunk brace not fitting, I would love to see how the two point brace doesn't line up.

Bolt on and making it fit with minimal effort are two different things. I didn't think i was buying something i would have to make fit, i can make the trunk brace fit with a file and a hammer.

Ground clearance is better that my old aluminum h brace.
My 8point did bolt right up, I just had to be smart about it, and finger start all the holes before I locked anything down, like I said, *MINIMAL* effort
Please, post pictures of your braces not fitting, I'd love to see that.

Trunk brace not fitting, traction bar in the pic you can maybe see, one lateral bar is welded at an angle and not finished.
Okay i tell you what, if this ends up the way i think it will and i get stuck with these braces, before i throw them away, i will bend the trunk brace over my knee take pictures and post it if you want, you are really stuck on this statement, i was not exaggerating that statement. But the whole purpose of my post was to show my experience and warn others. No Returns even though its not listed, you must pay to ship back defective parts even if thats how you received them, you may not receive what is pictured, some fitment is required, so not fully bolt on then, and in my opinion the welding is not what i expected from a company that makes braces. I did want these braces, i read how everyone was happy with there purchase, well what i got is not what i paid for. I will be adding another chassis brace thru tanabe, i did want a trunk brace but not what i was sent. The company respond to every one of my emails in a very timely fashion, but again, i was sent a brace that was not pictured, the traction bar was not finished and put built wrong, the midbrace looks okay but i don't like the spot welds, and there are pieces of metal inside of it rattling around. I hear a lot of you have good luck with TB performance, thats what made me order the whole kit, but I got a raw deal and will not promote or support them.

He posted some pics of the braces in the following link, but nothing of anything not lining up. I still find it damn near impossible to believe that Daniel at TB can make a custom 8point brace that fits with MINIMAL effort (remember, when you add points the possibility for failure go up exponentially, and this didn't take a hammer and a file to fit) yet a two point trunk brace is somehow beyond his ability. I think everyone wants to see pictures of this brace not fitting.

So here are some pics of the trunk brace, shocks leaned in and tightened down and sound slight pounding to get it down this far, threads on my shocks are scared very little. I got one side very close to the nut, but the other has a way to go. About another 1" on one side and at least 2" on the other. Like i said i can make it work with a file and a hammer, 1/8" out of each side, shocks would be straight up and down and brace would be flat. TB also sends this brace with two nuts and i dont know why. I wanted a tubular brace with the ends notched to match and welded clean. I am no longer interested in getting replacement for the traction bar or using this braces.

Thanks for the picture of the bar. I received the round bar version and for me if I was sent your version without a heads up notice of a design change I'd be asking for an exchange and a reimbursement of my shipping cost. As fo

I didn't get a chance to install my stage 2 kit yet , but I will say it was packaged very well, and my trunk brace is round. I ordered from Bean Garage, probably wouldn't have went through TB only because I have never ordered through them, but always had great experiences at beangarage.com

Also on that note, my order from tb came wrapped lightly in plastic wrap stacked together in a piece of cardboard wrapped around them and taped together, not packing material and not even a box.

The brace sits a little higher then my ground effects. Clears my exhaust extreme, but i had the exhaust shop keep everything nice and tight to the body.Name: 20130327_195425_zps1e79adfc.jpg
