Default Telescoping Steering Wheel

Hi Guys -
Can someone please straighten me out? I have been looking at the 2nd-Gen xB for a while now, and I have driven two '09 models within the last week or so. I swear that the two model's that I drove had telescoping steering wheels.

Does anyone out there have a '09 xB with a telescoping steering wheel or am I just imagining it?

Thanks,
RASCH

My 08 doesn't, so I doubt the 09 will.

I could be wrong, though! Lol!

Did you actually telescope the wheel or just assuming it did?

The 2008's do not have it, and as far as I know, is the same with with the 09's.

Can anybody confirm this?

you know what, i've been test driving cars for the past week, too and i thought the xb had it too for some reason. but i think it may have been the element...or maybe even the tc...but it's most likely the element out of those last two...

If I can't take hallucinogenics, how do you expect me to make it through the test drive? I have to numb myself to the purchase process. You would think after all this time that they could make car purchases go quicker. Somewhere I read that the average car purchase keeps you in the dealership for 4 HOURS!!!!!

I have tested three Camry's and two xB's and I swore that both had the telescoping wheel. I like the Camry but the transmission issue that they are having with the new one puts me off.

With Scion's no haggle pricing, I was in & out in less than 2 hours, and that included a lengthy ugly trade-in negotiation. It would have been less than 1-1/2 hours otherwise. If you purchase on a weekend it can take longer because finance gets backed up. I went in to do the deal at 6:30pm on a Monday night. Nice and easy! :D

I never stepped foot in the dealer. I selected my options on the internet, emailed the print out to the dealer and when my car came in the dealer delivered it to my house on a flatbed trailer for free. My sister-in-law was my salesperson and her dealership was four hours away. Now that was easy!!

It's really hard to keep track of what options belong to which cars.

I test drove a Rav4 and the Scion xB a month before I bought the Scion. I could have sworn the scion had that feature where you turn the key once in the ignition and it starts the car up automatically without holding onto the starter yourself, but I guess it was the Rav4 that had that feature cause mine certainly doesn't do that.

I have an 09 XB2. It does not have a telescoping wheel, however it should.
