Default is this true?

A choice from three new head units will be available on all 2008 Scions. All sound systems feature six speakers and standard iPod connectivity. The base head unit has 10 changeable backlit colors, MP3, WMA, and AAC CD compatibility, and Scion's SSP equalizer presets.
i think its just wrong info, but i was looking on Wikipedia (I'm Addicted to it) and i saw that they said this on the xB Article. I was just wondering if it is true that you can change the color on the base head unit and if it is how do I do it? Like i said, i dont think it is. i know that there was a head unit that did this but i dont think the ones on the 2nd gen xB do.

From what I can remember, the Premium unit has the ability to change the color of the deck. Not sure about the base HU but I have it and I don't think the color can be changed from the standard Amber color. But it would be cool if I could change it to either blue or Green.

I would guess its "no" only because for the people that has their LED's swapped in the whole dash, said that they also had the radio done.

Right, the addition of the dual illumination means the base doesn't have it. Sorry, unclear! :p

I wish teh Base unit did have the choice for multiple colors, but in another week, it wont matter anymore.

The Base unit has no option to change the illumination color.

The Premium unit can switch between amber/orange and blue

The Navigation unit I believe has all kinds of options in this regard.
