Default UGH...stuck on color!

I can't believe I am SO stuck on picking a color. I swore it would be black. Now, the only thing between me and my new B is picking between silver and black. It's like I've developed some type of OCD and literally CAN NOT pick one!!!

Please help!

I'm not going to do any "mods", just want this car as is (upgraded stereo, that's it).

Black - is this going to be all noticeably chipped in the front in a year?
Silver - is this a 'boring color' ?

I stopped AGAIN at the dealer to stare at the two colors and noticed the black one has bugs and a dent in the front bumper! Would this little dent be less noticeable if I went with silver?

I love the "seriousness" of black...but like the low maintenance of silver.

I don't mind if black looks "dirtier" quicker as long as it isn't more prone to looking "beat up" earlier (chips and dents show up easier)

In five years from now, would the black look that much different than the silver? Is the longevity of silver worth giving up the "coolness" of the black one?!

Thanks guys!!

That was pretty much it for me. I have always loved black cars. I have never owned one.
I love my Classic Silver.
I almost went for a refrigerator white one for some of the same advantages of the Silver. Very happy I went with the Silver.
In my case I also have the Wisconsin winters to deal with. If you have ever seen a black car with salt spray on it in the winter......it is ugly. With Silver it is not very noticeable.

The metal flake in the black is nice but I say silver all the way!

My 01 Corolla is black, never again. The car stays so darn hot all the time, you can't touch it during the daytime. You sneeze, and it looks like it's been through a hurricane. Washing it during the daytime was a challenge. It always looks dirty. The air conditioner works harder to try and keep the interior cool.

The only nice thing I can say is the car looks great after a wash and wax. But the rest is a headache.

I'll be swapping into a silver XB2 soon too.

it doesnt look boring at all since it IS a scion...

two of my prior vehicles were black. gorgeous color in my opinion...
upkeep on black is depressing.

To me Silver looks classy/contemporary, Black looks sinister/stoic, White looks clean/bright, Blue looks sporty/smooth, Blackberry looks suave/demonic, Teal looks edgy/cool. You can't go wrong with the xB2 in any color. Good luck!
