Wax vs. Rain - How long did it take?
I detailed my xB 2 days ago. Did a layer of paint cleaner (basicly like waxing, removes road grime and stuff after you wash it so the wax stays on longer, still got to wax it on and off) and then 2 coats of wax.
Driving to get my spoiler yesterday it opened up on me. Hadn't rained in a while so my car is extra filthy lol.
Kind of just a groan, but seems like i never get more then 24-48 hours with my car all dolled up.
At least it'll be easy to clean again.

It is almost always like this for me. I actually went a week and a half without rain. But the bad part about living in the Houston area is that if you don't park under cover, the morning dew gets all over your car and it gets filthy as soon as you drive it.
tech.... I know what you mean.. Im in the Woodlands area and its rained here every single day for the last month. it was raining the day i got my xB ... and has not stopped yet... it stopped just long enough a week ago or so and i did a quick waxing on it.
Yea, but if you keep it waxed, then when it rains you get that cool "water droplets" look all over your car. While everyone else's car looks like it's a soggy mess. Your car still looks better.
