Default Weird noise

Merry Christmas all!

Just have a question if anyone has experienced what i experienced

After several days of rain on socal, the sun finally reared its head 2 days ago. After the rain, i noticed that when i come to a stop 0-10 mph my car intermittently makes a grinding noise on my front driverside bumper. When i brake at higher speeds, the noise is not present...

I am on 5 axis 19's, lowered on tanabes 210 & TRD CAI on the driverside bumper as well. I have not taken my vehicle to the dlr but was just wondering if anyone knows what's going on? im thinking maybe brakes? wheels? hydrolock due to CAI but my check engine light is on. i dont have any idea what is causing this.. thanks for any help! I have 38k on my box

Could it be the wear indicator on your brake pad? Some of them have a thin metal strip that makes noise when the pad is getting thin.

It could definitely be just your brake pads starting to go out for replacement and it coincidentally happened after the storm. If you park your car outside, the disc rotors get that "flash rust" stuff and it makes a slight grinding noise when you first apply the brakes. After a while, the flash rust goes away and the grinding noise is no more.
