The TRD intake should be warranty friendly.

it voids the warranty if and only if an engine failure is caused as a result of having an aftermarket intake. If, say, you have a cold air intake and SOME HOW you manage to suck up enough water to flood your engine (not really likely at all) then thats a direct result of your intake and that is what voids your warranty. simply having the intake on doesn't void it, and if your engine were to fail for something completely unrelated to the intake then your warranty should still be honored.

Get TRD parts and they won't hassle you. I went in for warranty repairs twice and I got no BS what so ever (and I installed them myself). If you go in with aftermarket performance parts you're almost guaranteed a getting the run around from a dealer.

Print this: http://www.me-mag.com/Upload/magmoss.pdf and walk in to the dealer with it and ask them to say that the intake will void your warranty.

Truth. Legally, using aftermarket parts only voids the warranty on the parts you switch out and those that are directly affected by them.
