First check and make sure your gas cap is tight, if this does not resolve the problem possibly a vaccum hose is loose.
Not familiar with teh traction...

name any modds you have done. If you just put in a CAI. check your maf sensor and make sure its clean and connected well and the piping is ok. If you have just put in a header. make sure BOTH sensors are hooked up rigth and that donut is inbetween the bottom of the header and mid pipe.

Not familiar with the Trac Off light but isn't that notifying that the traction control is off? If so isn't there a traction control button somewhere on the dash?

Whenever there is a error or a CEL it shuts off the supporting computers in case the problem is with them. For example, my moms Lexus she left the gas cap off. When it threw a code, it caused the TRAC, VSC, ABS lights to come on. It is just a safety measure to shut them systems off until you fix/clear the CEL. Get it scanned, and let us know what the code is and we can help more.

had the same problem... had driven through slush and then temperature dropped. Hubby power washed the wheels and those sensor lights are now off!!! Note: We drove through 2 winters in Wisconsin and that never happened but the slushy/icy type condition caused a problem.

You're car will throw codes from time to time its just the imperfections of drive by wire. If the car still runs fine it will most likely correct itself but I would still take your car to a dealer and have it scanned.
