It's been 2 years; I'm guessing she's naked by now, but those pics wouldn't be PG rated for this site...

On April 11, 2008, a black-and-white photo of Bündchen, shot by Irving Penn, was auctioned for USD 193,000.

I just don't have that kind of money.

Personally I think the wheels look great. Honestly no other color goes wheel with HTM and thats why I chose chrome.
Took ages for your post to load via my dial-up connection (all the photos ), but I enjoy the appearance of your car (my favorite photo's above). I personally find the HTM to have an overly laidback flavor to it, but those rims provide balance and make the car sparkle ! Real nice package -- congratulations!

(PS -- Might look even better without the A-Pillar tape, just a thought .)

Thanks Bro I totally agree with your comment. Those wheels actually make the car stand out more because before it felt just like a solid color...

Actually when I first saw the wheels they reminded my of "Jaws" in james bond.

Noticed three teal cars of of various types yesterday and each had chrome wheels -- and each looked genuinely good. Personally, I think the chrome wheel haters are too much focused on the wheel and are not viewing the car as a whole. It's not just the wheels going down the road, it's the whole package.

i don't like chrome, not my style... BUT i think chrome goes on almost any car. i don't think there is a better option for this color?? I don't think it looks bad at all... and seriously i would not buy chrome ever. BUT i think it looks good! i love how the wheel fills up the wheel well you hardly see any gap...

O man its been pretty bad, the tire on the left side of the car (drivers side) is starting to shred because the tire is too close to the fender. I got all my fenders rolled and now its worse! I hear scrapping more often and on all sides of the car!!! Any suggestions on what to do? ..... worst case scenario I go back to my stock rims.

Damn should have gone with smaller rims!!

I'll try to post a pic later on.

I think it looks good....it's all about what you want and like...not us. Although the tire shredding would be a huge concern to me

I haven't been able to find the offset for the Alba AL717's listed anywhere; what is it? As I see it, you have 3 choices.
The first 2 are options, but I don't really think they count since I know you like these wheels. The third option should be the winner.

#1. Get entirely new tires & wheels.

#2. Remove the NF210's and go back to stock springs.

#3. Replace the tires (which are already getting destroyed) with tires that will work with this wheel & car.

I closely reviewed your pics on page 1, and noticed that you are running 245/35 tires on your 20's.
This is far too wide for a tire that is almost 2" larger in diameter. It's no surprise that your tires are getting shredded.
Dropping down to 225/35 tires should solve all your problems.
This will show you what 20x8.5 +40 offset wheels, with 225/35 tires, on NF210 springs looks like:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=213705

If your offset is in the +40 to +45 range, this will solve your problem, and only increase your tire/fender gap about 1/4".

In the size, the wheel is offered in 2 offsets. 42mm and 30mm. I think you have the latter.
And I agree 100% with CIONIDE. The wraps are entirely too large. Time for rubberbands.

What else could you do?

I'm guessing the +42 offset, otherwise those 245/35's would have been cut to shreds long ago.
If you look at the pictures of the front wheels, they don't look like they stick out past the front fenders,
which the +30 wheels would.

225/30's are actually the rubberbands that are recommended for 20x8.5 wheels on the xB2.
The 225/35's have almost 1/2" more sidewall than the 30 series tires, and will work fine,
as long as I'm correct about picking the +42 offset of those you gave me to choose from vegan.

bluescionxb2 listen 2 the pro " CIONIDE " and i also think the 3rd option is the way to go since you have to replace the tires anyways. how long did you have the tires for? any ways best of luck for fixing your car and it still looks good to me.

I would've NEVER opted to run that large of a tire on the xB. Period. Hell, I ran 255/35R20's on my fullsize truck!!!
If/when I purchase a set of twankies, I'll be running the 235/30R20 wraps.

Easy fella! I think it's pretty clear he just didn't understand. Between that high tire width (245) and the 35 profile (which is defined as % of width, not fixed height) he managed to nail himself. Don't criticize, sympathize, I'm sure he didn't screw up intentionally -- were talking dollars here !

OMG you guys have no idea what happened this morning. As I started driving at 8 am, I must have driven 200 ft past my house and I notice an orange warning light with an exclamation mark. So I'm like whats wrong with my car, as I pulled out the manual it said have I have low tire pressure. I get out the car and notice my tire in the back is flat and I notice my tire in the front on the left (drivers) side flat as well. I thought I must have run over something last night because I remember a loud noise as I left work. As I come back from the meeting at 11am I decide to examine my car. All my tire caps were missing (expensive to replace), and my tires were apparently deflated. So I pull out my automatic pump and inflate the tire in the back
but the tire in the front wouldn't inflate . Somebody was f***en around with my car last
night. I'm so ____ed right now... I have to drive my grandmothers car now! I will post pictures tomorrow.

My friend had his valve steams forcibly plucked out of his EVO 9 with pliers when he bought it brand new from the dealer after 2 weeks.

They scratched up his brand new Enkei wheels.

Get yourself some locking valve stem caps. For some reason I kept getting my regular chrome caps stolen off my wheels. I found a product called "Chromies". They come with a key to remove the valve stem caps. I never had a problem after that.
