It might be the only chance to test drive before they reach the dealer. Sounds like a good oppourtunity. I really hope you all stay home. I hate lines. I hear its going to be horrible weather.... tornados.. flooding... tsunami, even high pollen count. You should all just stay home, especially on the 4th.

I'll be there on the 4th... and I'm gonna drive it before you. HA!
(even though it's ugly as sin)

At the event it will be interesting to discover if the seats are comfortable and adjust the way I like, and if the steering wheel is closer to the driver. Deos anybody know if they are able to rest their elbows easily in the new xB as this is important to me to reduce driver fatique. I read that electric power steering used in the Prius gives little feedback, I hope this is not true with xB's. I'm 6'3" so I'll make a note of how it accomodates my size and let you know the details. I'll also make a note of engine noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) which is an important attribute to me.

Rest easy. I got off work about 4 hours late so I had to cancel.
Guess I'll have to wait until next week to drive the dealers.

It's worth the look. The dealer had a few in today for training vechiles. We weren't able to drive them, but got a ride. It was a real pleasure, even in the back seat. I'm 6'2" and about 325 and was entirely confortable. The shoulder room was great, and the ride was outstanding. Now just to drive the thing.

I missed it, on account of my stupid boyfriend herniating his stupid spine and needing surgery. -_- So I need somebody to tell me it REALLY SUCKED, or I'm going to spend the next three months sulking.

Geez, having to pick between the boyfriend and the box..........it's a good thing this was over the B2's. If it was between him and the first-gen I'd have had a serious dilemna on my hands.
