Default Xb Gas Filling Slow

I am a new Xb owner and like the car a lot. However, one problem - has anyone else run into the problem of filling the gas tank and having the gas hose click off very often. My wife and I just returned from a long trip. Every time I refilled the tank the last gallon or two was very slow and difficult to refill. It didn't matter if the car was slanted up or down or exactly level. I previously asked my dealer if the hoses to the tank were ok and they said all was fine. So, is this a chronic problem that all Xbs have and I will just have to live with it, or what? By the way, I averaged 32.3 mpg for the trip driving at 70-75 interstate highways, partly through mountains in TN! Pretty good.

Sometimes my tc does it but if I hold the gas nozzle up just a little I never have the problem. Same gas station or different?

Could something have gotten lodged in the fill tube? Islowing down the flow of gas into the tank?

Are you sure you're not over filling the tank? It should take about 11 gallons when the gas light comes on.

How did you determine the mileage? trip computer? or actual miles driven divided by gallons of gas pumped?

Same mpg here done on paper. That said, CIONIDE nailed it. New cars should not be filled to the top with every drop you can cram into it. You run the risk of flooding the carbon filter in the EVAP system and they are servral hundred dollars wholesale. You should let it fill till it cuts off, then round the pennies to where you want them and stop.

I've had that issue at certain gas stations, but found that is not due to my car, but the different pumps.
