Yahoo! PDR works!
Some moron put a solid dent in my driver's door in a parking lot -- really annoying. I just picked up the car from the shop and it now looks absolutely perfect. They used "Paintless Dent Repair" on it and the total cost was $100. I'm very pleased -- PDR works
!
!
Good stuff! Even better are the mobile PDR units.
Recently on another car, I used a mobile bumper repair guy. I had a scuffed up bumber that would have cost me $600 to repair at a traditional body shop. This guy came out and made it look like new for $250.
There are also outfits that do mobile wheel repair too,

Nice!
I earlier checked the yellow pages looking for PDR (I'd read of it,) but if it was there, I clearly missed it. As it is, I reported it to my Insurance Co. and selected one of their nearest network collision repair shops (maybe a mile away.) Their PDR specialist took a look and thought he could handle it -- he was right
! My collision deductable is $250, so I'm really happy to get a back-to-original repair for $100.

Here is one outfit with examples of what they can do:

Those photos remind me of what I used to pay $160 for -- OUCH!
I was just looking at the prices for replacement rims for my current setup and thinking maybe I should buy one or two as a precaution
! Still, it's around $140 per rim!
