Default yet another chicago thread....the weather

A while back in the thread when we discussed the announcement of the new cars @ chicago and people deciding if they wanted to go or not, there was a question about the weather and some local chicagoans (myself included) said that it was unseasonably warm this winter, and indeed, as recently as 2 weeks ago it was well in the 50s and very nice for this time of year. However now with the show only a week away (can you believe the new xB and xD will finally go public to the rest of us non-miami people)... the weather is getting COLD. This weekend the high is not to go far beyond the SINGLE DIGITS... and the week that follows won't be much better.

So...a warning from non-locals driving to chicago for the show: BRING YOUR MOST HARDCORE WINTER GEAR. You'll need it.

Second that... there's a high of 6 degrees in city for the superbowl.
It's not that bad, until the wind blows, then you want to die.

The forecast I saw was that it's warming up next weekend... We might see some 20s!

It was 20 here a couple days ago, it actually felt almost tolerable.

I just moved my sister to Villa Park 2 weeks ago and even though it wasn't as cold as it is now when you're used to Florida weather it's still freaking cold. So bundle up and for any of you from Florida going up there. CHAP STICK!!!!! You're lips will hate you otherwise.
