Springs on order now! Thanks guys for the help/comments, I wish I could slam my box like slamdyota but no can do out here in my neighborhood. Not without bags at least.

So one quick question, are there any plugs made for our boxes that plus the hole left behind by the removal of the rear wiper? I removed the emblems today and was gonna get to work on the wiper before that rainstorm got us and delayed my rear wiper delete mod. I hate that stupid ___ wiper. Have any of you guys removed your wiper? what did you plug it with?

Good looking out my man!!! Im gonna get myself one of these asap. Now, removing the wiper is a fairly painless modification right? I mean it looks like a straightforward, bolt off the wiper, then inside panel, unscrew motor and we're done right?

Yep thats it really fast just be carefull pulling the panel off so you dont break the little push tabs. take the wire connector and wrap it around the cable so it wont rattle. Change your plate lights to led while your in there too so you dont have to pull the panel again lol. I did mine pluged it painted it but I put it back on a month later lol cause I hate when the back i s dirty and its pooring rain with my dark tint and crappy backup light it helps to have a rear wiper. It did look way cleaner without it though. And slamdyota your box is wayyyyyy to low lol wtf?????? I would rather not have to woory about scraping due to the stipes being painted too thick lol.

So this morning after class I had some down time and I went to work and pulled the damn wiper off. Much cleaner without it now. I went the jetas way and bought a plug from Home Depot. I ended up combining the old rubber plug with the new 1 inch plug I bought from Home Depot. Cut out a hole big enough to allow my new plug to fit in super snug, that way the hole is still water tight and I don't have that annoying wiper. I might go back and get a color matched plug but for now I kinda like my gold plated plug. Looks much cleaner and it reminds me of my dads 1974 Toyota Corolla hatchback he had while I was growing up. Had a push to release button on the hatch that looks like whats on my box now.

sjthompson01, the LED idea is dope! might have to go back in and take the panel off again lol.

Just paint the plug. Save yourself alot of money. All u gotta do is silicone it from the inside.

I was also interested in purchasing the DF210's but was concerned about alignment I contacted FastScions and they told me that it would on only affect my rear camber by .5 degrees... now do you guys know if this is something that can be fixed with a four wheel alignment or do our cars not have rear camber adjustements?

There is no current solution for any rear alignment. Being solid axle, there's nothing you can do to get everything within spec. VWs have shims and the calipers are offset and aligned with washers. Don't know why nothing like this has been made for the xB yet.

Now will this .5 camber shift cause excessive wear on the rear tires or is it something I can live with?

I just removed my DF210's. had them for 2 years. LOVED THEM. why did I remove them?? air ride.. THe only thing I had issues with was if I had my family in the B and tried to go over speed bumps the exhaust about mid vehicle would scrape. That and a few entrances were a bit tricky. After the car fully settled I had just about a 2 1/4" drop from stock.
and Like you I went with the TRD drop first...

BTW.. I have my Df210's... who wants them??? $150 plus shipping.

not quite true, a good friend of mine is an alignment tech and past xB2 owner. He found something that works on the rear axle for the xB2. I will find out and when I do I will let you know what it is.

You can use the SPC EZ-Shims, but they don't take the brake caliper into consideration. The alignment shop I go to has been in business for probably longer than I've been around. They told me nothing is available.
Interested to hear what your friend has come up with.
