Im sure you'll be plenty happy. The Tokicos are their HP line so they should be performance oriented like the TRD's and be stiffer than stock. They are cheaper as well. I want the TRD's but the Tokicos are cheaper and Im also waiting to hear from a review on them.

How is the TRD Spring with TRD Shocks? I also wanted to know if anybody is selling their stock xB2 springs and shocks cuz I want to do some research on them for coilovers.

Default stock springs

CrazyMPG - I've got stock springs that I don't need. Let me know if you're interested. I've installed TRD springs, which I like, but I'm also thinking about TRD struts/shocks, because I just found out today my stock rear shocks are leaking. Not a huge detriment in ride quality, but good excuse to look at something new...

According to Bilstein, they don't make shocks specifically for Scion models.

Do you know which Bilsteins would fit the 2nd-gen xB?

So let me get this straight... OEM shocks/struts are made for Toyota by Bilstein, and since they are under contract to supply OEM, they won't produce anything else for the after-market?

That sucks.

I guess it's the same for KYB; they make the TRD shocks/struts, so they won't produce anything else either.

Looks like I'll be going Tokico HP Blue when the time comes.

oh sorry, i didn't realize Bilstein didn't make an aftermarket set for the xB2. You're gonna want to find a shock thats rated for a lower ride. Most all the springs are pretty similar... they're all made in China these days so I honestly could give a hoot about quality etc etc.... quality these days requires paying a big step up in premium. The good news is that most of hte lower budget springs should do just fine, your biggest factor should probably be the ride height. Ride quality should normally run similar in these ranges, the differences are minimal.

I wish I would have had more time to take the Cusco coilovers off for a member here.... i traded the car back into the dealer..... we went into toyota to check out the Sienna's since Toyota's been hurting since the recalls and surprisingly the deal was too good to pass up so I didn't get a chance to swap suspension out... what a shame! You would have loved the Cuscos
