So the brace is in and it was kind of a pain in the butt to get on because the space between the top of the strut bolt and that plastic firewall piece was almost non existent. I almost wish I would have put an intake on first since I probably have to take it back off to do an intake install. I do feel the front end is a little tighter but maybe it's in my head.

The reason it was hard to put on is because you have to take the cowl off.

Yeah I thought at one time I read something about that but I still managed to get it installed. Ganyon what is your impression of having the brace on versus not having a brace?

I noticed that the turn in was a lot better with it. I mainly got it for show but it also got rid of the stupid rattle that i had up front. I may attempt my trd rear sway bar tomorrow and see how it feels.

That's pretty disappointing quality for a DC strut bar; they couldn't even get the emblem on straight... You sure it's a legit product? My understanding is that DC never actually produced one for this model (it was planned but cut before release). I searched a few months back and couldn't find a single instance of someone physically having one in hand (lots of "I know someone who..." but no one that could produce any evidence).

Regarding the rear sway bar, that's where you'll definitely notice a clear difference. I have the Hotchkis front and rear sway bar set along with the Tanabe strut brace, and overall the rear brace makes the biggest difference.

Yeah I think the quality does suck but maybe I will pull it back remove the crooked badge TIG weld the holes and powder coat it. I bought it from a reputable retailer so I don't think it is a counterfeit product just poor quality.
