Default DF210 too low for me?

i accidently ordered DF210 for my 08xb, I meant to order the NF210 but I made a mistake. i tried to get ahold of the seller to swap them but he had already shipped.

****lol the Fedex truck just dropped them off, damn that was quick!!******

Anyways, are these too low for and average family dude and his Scion? I mean I like how they look, but I dont want my kid to get slammed around in the back, or my wife to have problems with scrapping curbs and stuff, nor do I want some crazy bumpy ride. I realize that they are not too much lower than the NF's but is the difference that noteworthy as far as my concerns are?, or they heighth so similar that I would have most of the same problems with either or?

this is my car BTW-
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=210079

should i roll with it, or try to get em swapped out for the NF210?

speaking on behalf of the DF210's, the ride is not too bumpy. feels almost similar to the stock springs. although it is pretty low, you will more than likely scrape with the crazy streets of San Diego. i've only had them for about a week and hit two small speed bumps (appx. 1.5-2.5 inches) and scraped pretty hard, even with an angle! also, it doesn't help if you have more than 1 other person in your car. So in your situation, I would have you go for the NF210's. But i'd suggest you check out an xb2 with DF210's installed before deciding...

Ya, the more I read about it, the more I fear that they just wont work for me. I have them sitting on my counter, I think they will a big PITA to return these things, maybe I can find someone in San diego that will buy them off me, or possibly exchange the for the Nf's?
I would be fine with them, but I dont think my wife would like the extra attention that would be needed while driving a lower ride of the BF's.

i think you should trade them.... at least I would. ride wise, i dont think the children would really notice. wife wise, you'd have to worry about scraping, and thats never good haha.... :D

another reason i'd trade is because i have to deal w/ winter driving. if the streets arent bad in your area, or where you drive then keep'em. just tell her to be extra careful over speed bumps, potholes, driveways, etc..

I bet you could sell them pretty quick on here in the classifieds, or maybe ebay. Although you might lose a little having to pay for shipping. Or maybe you'll be able to find someone local. That's all if the seller won't help you swap.

I have NF's and they're awesome. The ride over bumps and stuff is actually nicer than stock. I chose them because my last car was slammed and I didn't want to deal with that this time around. Plus when I get a lip kit, it will be low enough for around here. Any lower with a lip kit and I'd scrape everywhere.

Have you tried posting on the Pacific South regional thread to let locals in your area know they are available?

me personally I love my df210's not to high not to low . I have had them for almost 5 months now and scraped a couple of times. ride isn't to bad though just a tad bit bumpy nothing my daughter noticed. but if your wife drives it most of the time go with the nf's. I'm just afraid you might not be satisfied with the stance cause its not much of a drop.....

I hear you man, but I am not really looking to get a significant drop, I was more less looking to get a small drop, but most importantly getting rid of the "stink bug" look, with the back end sticking up higher than the front. I was checking out the NF210 thread, and I think I will be happy with those.

I got the NF210's on about a week and a half ago and love em. My wife can even tell the difference in ride quality. I would have gone with the df's but I have a 2 year old son so decided to with the NF's. I still need to angle on some curves and speed bumps and have only scrapped once.

Should have gone with the NF210's... 1"/1.7"
1" drop just isn't enough in the rear.

Get ready for lots of scraping with the 5-axis...that thing will probably be abour 2" off the ground with the dfs.

EH Screw it! Ordered the DF's today...so hopefull they will be here to install this weekend. Im gonna be rollin the stock wheels and tires for a while. My xB with the five ax kit already sits as low as my RS1 with S-techs. So cant wait to see how it looks after the DF install.
