EEK! That's a pretty gnarly stretch!!!
What is keeping you up in the rear? You could change out shocks to something from KYB or even something like a Toxic shock.

different air kits?-215-35-18-9.5.jpg
actually its not that bad, i wanted to do a 205 but since i commute 80+ a day i figured i would stay to the safe side.....lol
the shock is what keeping me up in the rear i have about a credit card thickness between the tire and fender front and rear i love it. i could change over to different shocks in the rear and get another 1/2 inch but i prefer to have it the way it is. i can ride it with 30psi front and rear about a half inch above the tire .

Seriously, 30psi? That's pretty nuts. You need about 60 in the Airlift setup, but it's still pretty soft as I recall.

yeah i ride at about 65 in the fronts with the airlift set up, and you are correct, its soft. I had to turn up the dampers all the way to compensate

Anyone with Airlift front struts have issues? My buddy's pops when airing up from full dump. They seem to get caught up a little, then give with a pop. They told him to check the airline to see if it's being caught somewhere. Nope.
Seems like that company will try to place the blame anywhere else besides themselves.

As long as it's not just me. ____es me off. It's a really nice and solid kit, but should work better and not pop.
Engineering flaw?

Killing me with those shots Lefty, but with all you guys having different issues with each different air kit, keeps me from putting air on. Since I drive with the wife and kids in the ride sometimes. And the kids in the car just about everyday, though not always very far. But if I had air i would probably make my weekly 120 mile round trip to and from the OC, more often in mine rather than in my wife's RX(it has a ton of miles on it already), so I would not want any issues with the air kit I decided to go with.

^ i dont have any issues with my air kit. i consider the popping sound a non-issue for me since it happens to everyone with the easystreet/airlift set up. doesnt even bother me. an air set up, if done right, should be just as reliable as a static set up.

Because they're GOOD. ScionPro or Airlift claims the sound is a 'kinked air line'.

Tell me, in your years of minitruckin, how many times has a kinked air line made any type of sound besides HIIIIIISSSSSS?

Yeah, that is true Severed, kinked air line always made a hiss or wouldn't allow it to air up at all.

AirLift with the same issue here. Pops if I air out all the way then air back up (technically down to 10psi which is their recommended "least amount"). I rarely air it out all the way though. I usually drive it at 60 frt and 28-30 rear or for comfort I'll keep it closer to around 80 frt and 46-48 rear.

I also get a little "rattle" from the front/left corner while driving. It doesn't always do it and varies depending on what ride height i'm at.

With all this being said, I'm still pleased with the adjustability as I also have the V2 digital setup and it works well so far. I have a family and 2 kids that I drive to school and back almost daily in the Xb and the adjustability is AWESOME.

I PM'd one of the reps on here about it but never got a reply.... hmmm.
