DIY Control Arms and Sway Bar replacement?
Still waiting on my Hotchkis Sway Bars—purchased in Nov., delayed 3X, promised for April 30—already have new Moog control arms & tie rods. Has anyone tackled a Control Arm and Sway Bar replacement on their 2nd Gen xB?
My local independent shop has quoted a price just north of $400. I installed coilovers / springs & dampeners myself without undue distress, but the A-arms look more challenging.
Can someone offer some sober advice?

It's not difficult but it is tedious. For the sway bar you are going to need to drop at least the rear of the sub-frame to get it out. The LCA are just a couple bolts, with a few plates covering them. I've attached the tech files for it below.
I replaced my driver side lower control area with no issues. Picked one up from a junkyard. That’s where I learned how to do it. It was different on my vehicle vs
in the junkyard since the xB I pulled it from in the junkyard had the engine and something else removed before I got to it. But overall it wasn’t that bad in my garage.
