I'm guessing you don't want to hear about the TRD shocks and struts and their lowering springs so I'll skip that. But there's Tokico Shocks & Struts that would work with various lowering springs including OE springs. Then there's adjustable damper coiloivers available for our xB.

TRD shocks rock man, I don't know what you're talking about. They are re-badged KYB shocks.

I guess if you're performance oriented, go for H&R springs with KYB shocks (I think they have a part number).

I have the trd springs/shocks and sway bar on my ride and I couldnt be more happier. Not de-valuing your vehicle and no hassles with warranty work is also another plus.

Hate to resurrect an old threat, my apologies, but I want to ask about the above statement...is it true? I am looking to do a TRD drop and I really don't want to go just springs on stock struts (car has 96k on it, they are probably getting old). I know I have a Tc...not an Xb

I found these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-2...Q5fAccessories

And these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KYB-2...Q5fAccessories

Total: $223.18 with free shipping and no tax.

A set of TRD branded Struts/Shocks runs $400+

Are the KYB really rebranded/identical and are they valved well enough to handle the TRD springs or better?
