help on supension upgrade
i was thing of getting one of these setup
1. TRD SHOCKS with EIBAC sportlines
2. TRD SHOCKS with TANABE NF210
3. TRD SHOCKS with HOCKIS springs
4. KSPORT COILOVERS
reason i'm asking is i don't know with the first 3 setup will my car have any rubbing issue and will it bottom out. i live in LA and theres quiet alot of dips and pot holes laying around. my foot prints now is 18x7.5, 45 offset, tires 215-45-18. i do alot of commuting and fast cornering. once in a while i go to mountain passage doing up and down hill and this car roll a little too much so i want a real good setup on the safe side.
THANX in advance for all of your feedbacks, insights, and experience

I would vote for #3 but that's only based on my experience with Hotchkis on my Mini. They rode better than stock and handled great. Not necessarily great advice but don't rule out the Hotchkis because they're more performance oriented.

Im gonna be doing the #2 Set-up. Just ordered My NF-210's ill have them by Monday and the TRD Shock's i got from a friend of mine for a sweet deal. I drive to and from work every day and needed someing for now that will Give me a decent drop and keeep a smooth ride. Down the road i may change to Ksport's once my money is on the up and up.
firstly you have to realize that 1-3 is different height levels. secondly the wheel offset youre getting pushes the wheel in by about 10mm but it should be ok for clearance
the xB2 chassis isnt the stiffest in the world so bars may be needed if you drive as "swiftly" as i do. i have the tanabe DF which drop about the same as the eibach but are allegedly not as stiff as the eibach. i also have the trd front and rear bars and do feel that they make a difference through the corners. it keeps the suspension quite tight.
but for me i am saving up to go for the KSports cause i want the height adjustability and the stiffer springs. i vote #4

well i have a few more questions that just pop in my mind with the KSPORT COILOVER.
1. is it hard to adjust the hieght, damping, and camber?
2. any special tools needed to do so?
3. how is the ride on this set? is it really stiff and bouncy or is it soft and absorb roads condition accordingly coz i do alot of daily sprint driving and this is my commute car?
4. knowing the type of driver i am taking lots of high speed turns, would i have to adjust the setting often meaning will the setting ever get loose?
5. also i've asked many friends about K-SPORT but none of them have use their products, so how reliable is it?
6. is the product comparable to other top brands say for instance TEIN?
7. how would you rate the fit and finish, quality and overall value?
sorry for having so much question coz it's my time with the brand and i don't know much about them. aslo none of my friends ever used them before

Adjustments are fairly easy. Just like any other coilover to adjust. You have to use the spanner wrenches and you can adjust the height and all that pretty easy.
Not really any special tools. The spanner wrench if you want to adjust the springs. Comes with the little adjustment ***** for the top of the coilovers for the dampening.
You make it rough or soft. I have mine alittle on the soft side since I drive mine daily as well. Not a big deal at all there. You set it to what you like.
I have not messed with mine in about a month. All I did was adjust the dampening when I did. Took about 3 minutes.
I have used K sport on a couple of my own rides now. Not a single issue one bit with them. Tein is not out yet. So you wont find them.
Fit and Finish are awesome. They are a oarnge color and look amazing. I pull my wheels at shows and have no problems showing them off. They are not ugly in anyway.
I hope that helps and I am sure some other people will jump in here as well.
For the money go K-Sports, there are a bunch of vendors you can go through here.
Nolimitz and Why Ind. just to name a few.
I've had mine on a little over a month, at first had them with the front pretty low, but not at its lowest and I was tucking riber on the stock 16's and the rear were at the max low. I need to raise the front cause I was rubbing my bumper a little to much.
After I put my 18's on I only adjusted the rear, and they are extremely easy to adjust, I like the fact that you can adjust the height on the rear strut so easily.

k sports seem to be the best. ive never seen then in person or drivin with them but i hear all good about them.
ive had my sportline kit on for a week now and i love it. if you on a little bit of a budget you can get eibach sportlines for about $200, that makes it a very affordable option.
any of you choices will be better then stock. once you drive it lowered youll never want to go back.
