My fiance just bought a sw 08 xb... she wants the hotchkis drop i think.... with it lowering it that low would she need camber kit, alignment, or both?

No camber kit, but its always a good idea to have alignment checked after any suspension work.

Check my official Hotchkis thread.

You just need an alignment after you lower your car.

I've been on my Hotchkis' for 2 months with no alignment. Lol!

I know I need it, though. No time and no money, FTL.

I'mma smack you! You have enough money to go through DF210 and Hotchkis so therefore you have enough money for alignment!

No no no. I installed the DF210's on a buddy's xB2. Then he traded it in on an FJcruiser.

my dad has a FJ. right after i got my license he gave it to me and i drove it for a long and tormenting 3 weeks. toyota was really good at designing this thing dont mistake me. i particularly love how you get the subwoofer has that "aftermarket feel" and yet has a toyota push-button to turn it off/on. i love the giant ***** and how the entire interior just tugs at the childhood dream to drive a tonka truck. then again according to consumer reports its the 7th highest rollover risk and the engine noise is fun when you want to show off to your passengers but when youre driving alone it drones on and on and you just want to plow it into a tree....

back on topic! whichever springs you plan to get its always good to get an alignment. whether it was you or a shop that helps you install the springs someone is always going to take it out of alignment. pay for the alignment and save yourself the headache of uneven tire wear
