Well, they prototyped their springs on another xB2 four months ago and they're still not released... be prepare for a HUGE rental bill while you're driving a POS Kia.

I honestly hope it all works out for you, I just know that it took FOREVER for them to release the springs, even after testing. They did testing 4 months ago, and as of a month ago their own website still said they were in development. I didn't realize that they FINALLY released them (my bad), but I still haven't seen a single person with them yet, so it makes me wonder.

Best wishes to you, I hope you get a set of the coilovers sooner than the rest of the crowd waited for the basic springs.

P.S. Sorry, they tested the springs 7 months ago, not 4 (my bad again )

I ordered a set from Ptuning.com just the other night. Site said they should ship out by the 25th. I'll post some pics and my review of them soon as they come in and I get them on.

Good luck with the Coilovers. At least someone is doing something about it.

I've been doing my own research on creating a custom coilover setup on my own (since none of the lowering springs on the market and none of the dampers on the market are good), so we'll see how that goes.

uhhhhh the Cusco coilover's are available.

props for shellin' up to help TEIN do their R&D? are they gonna drive your car or is this just for test fitment? Either way xB2 owners should be glad there's another option out there now. Glad TEIN is willing to commit to the Scion market with some coilovers.... so many half assed springs running around.

I know about those, but I'm wondering, are they available with different spring rates? I'm interested in something stiffer than 6kgmmF/5kgmmR

tein basics usually are softer than the ss/ss-p coilovers. i dont think youre going to beat the cusco spring rates with tein basics

This post makes no sense. Spring rates aren't something that is beat. It's all about the valving matched to the spring rates and weight of the car.

I'm sure they're going to drive the car too since they asked me for full tank of gas and about 5 days of r&d.

These Tein Coilovers will be pretty cheap. The MSRP will probably be around 900 which means the real price should be anywhere from 600-700.

you said that you wanted something stiffer than the cuscos.. i meant that the basics will probably not as stiff as the cuscos cause those coilovers are kinda designed for daily drive with height adjustability unlike the more aggressive and adjustable super sport coilovers that tein offers that will probably be on par with the cusco coilovers

i re-read my post and i really didnt make sense.. my bad..
