Default Pictures of your springs (literally!)

Post up pictures of your actual springs (not pics of the car). I'm curious to see the designs of most of these springs.

Ones already posted:
Stock
Tanabe NF210
Tanabe DF210
Eibach Sportline
Hotchkis

Ones missing:
Tenzo R
Sprint Racing
Eibach Pro-kit
etc.

Judging by your profile those are Hotchkis Springs. Thanks for posting them up.

I thought I'd add to this old thread since I had the chance to snap pics of 3 sets of springs. I changed my NF210s today with TEIN H-tech springs. The reason I did this was to get that extra 0.4" lower that the H-techs provide over the NF210s in the rear.

So far the H-techs drop 3/8" lower than advertised in the front and 3/16" higher than advertised in the rear (1/4" lower than the NF210s). I'll give it a week or so before I take some official measurements. I'll actually make another post about the H-techs in a new thread in the coming days. (hint, they ride really nice).

yeah, I like my Borla more than I used to. It's pretty growly without any raspiness.

Drew, a full report is coming! I just need to get a few good pics. All the pavement around my place is uneven so it wouldn't represent well. Since it's Memorial Day weekend, the crowds are in full effect in SD. I'm scared of tourists!

All I can say right now is so far so good. TEIN really missed out on a lot of sales by taking so long to bring these to market. They are at least everything the NF210s are with more drop. The only downside is the ugly brown/gold color scheme. Well worth the effort to switch them out to fill in the fender gap even more and maintain very nice ride quality.

Congrats! you are the first person here that I know of that has H-techs. I know they have a higher spring rate than the NF-210's, but are they still pretty comforatable? I'm gonna be getting mine within the next 2 weeks & want to know if they are worth the extra$$. And is it just me, or does your rear springs look alot more compressed than the trd's, do you have weight back there?

Thanks. I may be the first - cool! I only have a 10" woofer in the back in a small sealed enclosure. It's not enough to make a difference. The reason they look compressed is because the H-techs have about 4 winds of soft rate, and the rest is the stiffer rate. They have about twice as much (lengthwise) as the NFs do. That's probably why they ride so nice. I say whatever springs you like are going to be worth the extra $$. What's $50-$100 in the grand scheme of things? Not much IMO.

I'm about to do a full write up. Look for it later today and I'll have all the details.
