It'll look a lot better when the wheels arrive.

I'm personally not a fan of black wheels, but I'm sure everything will come together well!

This is the first time I've decided to go with black wheels myself. Every other car has been gold or silver wheels. This time, I wanted to try something different. Been debating on doing the faces white, but then realized I am lazy at cleaning wheels. So that'll probably not happen.

Don't try this at home kids. A 215/55 on 16x8 +25 is too much tire. Tomorrow it's all or nothing with the swapping of 205/55's onto the 16x8's in hope that they aren't stuffed to the point that the fenders are resting on the tires.

It's a shame you couldnt fit the 215's, they look great. I'm torn now as to what look to do. I love the old school vibe of the meaty tires. Its like a hot rod van! its crazy awesome. Because of this looking so great I put my 17's up for sale. I never even mounted tires on them but I don't think thats the way ill go after seeing your ride.

Hey stenger. I have a quick question. How is the ride being that low? Lots of rubbing? And is it bouncy compared to stock?

Did you ever get the 205/55's on? Curious how they look. I've contemplated stepping wheel size down to get a tad lower plus I've had my wheels for 5 years and kind of in the mood for a new look.

My wife has 205/40 on her 16x8's, which look good on her 1st gen but would probably have too much wheel gap on our 2nd gens.

So i need new shocks, im on df210's right now. So I was looking at new shicks and the Tokicos blues come out to be about $400 for the whole set. These coilovers are about $400 for the set. Im not looking to slam the car or even drop it lower then the DF's, just yet as my wife drives the xb to do her errands. So im wondering if these coilovers would be a good replacements for springs and shocks at a moderate drop like df's or a tad bit higher?

if all you want is to be the same drop as DF210 then i say go for it cause they can go lower if you ever want to go lower.

This may have been asked before.

I'm running TRD springs. Right now i notice the rear is getting to low. I race my box and it has seen some hard running trackdays and heavy hauling loads. I like the drop of my TRD springs but its time to replace the rears at least.

Saw the racelands and they seem like a pretty good replacement for the price (369 on the price) I'm not interested in slamming i just want that same nice drop that allowed some compression so i could still fit 4 people n my car n bomb around.

Thoughts? Or perhaps other suspension suggestions?

Sorry, been a way for a while. Been working like mad, and spending all my time on clubxb (just prefer that site).

So my stance wheels on 205/55's:

As you can see, I can't run center caps on the front. Too much axle. They rode great, but rubbed a lot. That being said, I recently switched over to 205/50's. Really solved my rubbing issue (even with pulled/rolled fenders).

Once I order and install my sway bars, I am going to drop the rear about 1/2" to even it out. The small rake it has now looks cool, but doesn't help much in cornering.
