Default So on the DF's??

I have read around in the past, that you have to cut somthing when installing the springs...I dont remember exactly what it said and cant find it anymore...Can somebody help me and explain what it is, and do I have to cut anything or can I just put the springs in...Thanks in advance....

Bump stops, its the hard foam type cone that sits on the piston shaft of the strut/shock.

Just cut them in half.

I've installed 2 sets of DF's and didn't cut the bump stops...

I didn't cut my bump stops when I installed my Hotchkis springs, either. Then again, they provided shorter urethane units.

i chopped mine right in half when i put my DFs on. I dont rally my car and i go slow over bumps whenever possible. Didnt want to chance anything. Last thing i want to do is rip apart the cowl again to pull those struts off.
