Default spring choice need help please

hello xb chronics.....addicts....lol
im new here just registered today hoooray!!!!
glad to join the addiction!!!!


can someone help me choose on a spring set i narrowed it down to:

tein s tech and hotchkis

anyone with these setups reguarding tire rubbing,ride quality,stance etc....pics would help alot

i have a xb2 w/19"trds on toyo proxes4 235/35 any and many input will be much appeciated

You could search a little, but there's a few of us on the Hotchkis springs. I love mine. I've seen another with the TRD wheels with them, as well.

thankx for the reply....i search here and i think i saw a blk one w/ 19"trds where he went to hotchkis and they did the install ....he showed before and after pics....looks sweeet!!!!
and yours 2 by the way.

i guess not too many here yet w/ tein s tech on 19" trds 235/35 since they just came out with those springs.....but i assume they are close to dfs from the specs of the drop....[f:1.7"/r:2.1"]

Tein's were just recently released. I purchased my xB in July 07 and waited until about February 08 for Hotchkis to release their springs.

I've lowered 3 other xB2's, besides my own. The other 3 I installed DF210's. I'm still lower.

well ill do more searches and hopefully come across tein s tech w/19"trds 235/35
if not then i might just get them hotchkis......they loook sweeet 2!!!

The Tein S-Techs have a higher spring rate than the Hotchkis springs. If you want a stiffer suspension that handles better (with a stiffer ride), then get the Tein's. If you want a low ride that has a softer suspension which is probably better for daily driving, get the Hotchkis.

^^^The Hotchkis rides great. I've had friends in my car and they said it rides better than their cars and feels more planted.
