Default TRAC works, button to turn if off does not.

Hey all.

2015 Scion xB. I only have 14k on the odometer. Last winter the button to disable the traction control worked fine and the light on the dash would illuminate to let me know it was disabled.
This year, the button does nothing. I checked to see if it was possibly disabling the system and it was just the indicator light, but no. It is not disabling.

Traction control system is working fine; I tested it out on some ice. Deep snow in the coming months and I need to be able to turn it off if there is deep snow (especially with the manual transmission) but the button simply does not work. I see no loose connectors.

Any ideas?
