TRD to NF210

TRD to NF210
I posted this question in NF210 thread but got no love. So I decided to start a new thread.
My 2012 box has been on TRDs since day 1. Currently it has 20,000km (about 12,500 miles) on it. I have been reading so much about NF210s and how the ride quality is just like OEM or even better. I have no complaints with TRDs when it comes to handling but I have started to feel that it's bit bumpier (stiffer) for my taste specially the rears and I have been thinking very hard about switching to NF210s lately.
Before I do that, I would like to know if it's ok to switch to different springs given that I have driven 12,500miles on TRDs? Anything to worry about my stock struts/shocks etc or would it be business as usual? Also a question for those who switched from TRDs to NF210s, is there a noticeable difference in ride quality? I just dont want to go spend about $500 and then find out that the ride quality is 'about the same'.

Guggan,
Yes, NF210s will ride softer than stock but yield about same lowering as TRDs. But xBs are a entry level Toyota, not a highly engineered Beemer or Caddy...
From what I read from your previous posts you're running 16"-dia wheels, so I expect you're not running low-profile (<45) sidewalls which truly exasperate the ride of stiffer TRD springs. I just went from 235/35-19 to 235/45-17 on my TRDs and am very happy with ride without sacrificing handling for my "spirited" driving.
What, there still putting so much salt on the QEW, 401, etc and not fixin' the potholes? I thought socialism, the GST, and gas taxes would take care of and make everybody happy. That's what they were selling in the early 90s when I moved south...

xB is noisy as fu%& and bumpy ride makes it that much more difficult I'm not even going to mention those ugly ridiculously small dinky tires!
