Default TRD spring install HELP needed!

I'm in the middle of changing my rear springs and am confused about how to index them. TRD says that the bottom coil ends should be at 3 o'clock but where is 12 o'clock? Should both be at 3 o'clock or one at 3 and one at 9 o'clock? TIA.

I indexed them assuming 12 o'clock to be the front of the vehicle looking from the top. So on mine the coil ends are both directly to the passenger side of the car. That is what I guessed was 3 o'clock and they seem to be fine.

correct. 3pm to the right. Assume 12 is the front of the car. When I installed the OE ones and they were facing 3 as well.

Thanks guys. I ended up with both bottom coil ends at 9 o'clock (facing the driver side) because at that position the springs were at their loosest fit. My sway bar prevented the axle from dropping very far and the springs were a tight fit.

At least both springs are facing the same way so the height should be even. I wonder how imortant it is to have them at 3 o'clock? I may change them tommorrow when I tackle the fronts. Thanks again.
