Default TRD Springs setup question

I am buying 17s rims and tires. I would like to drop the XB it a bit but i dont want to spend alot of money. I was wondering if i get the TRD springs 1) do i need anything else to install them ,and 2) Do they work well?? i can get em for about $200. THANKS!

well i have the TRD springs on my tC, so maybe I can help. For install, you'll prbly need a spring compressor from any auto parts store

and as for the price, i found you some used ones, they should be ok

hope that helps.

I'm not too impressed with the drop, they are stiffer but nothing too noticeable. they do sag though, the rear hangs about half a finger lower. i'm just OCD like that.

and I'm not sure about the shops where you are, but everyone around here was gonna screw me on the price. the lowest quote I had was 400 bucks. unless that 200 is installed? The job isn't too tough and a good learning experience.

I believe the link that Josh put up for the used springs is for a 1st-Gen xB, not a 2nd-Gen.
