TRD Vs Tanabe Sustec Strut Brace
#41
Funny, I never spotted or even heard about the TRD having hinges -- does it really? In any case, why is that a problem? Hinges allow it to better accept the stresses of relative strut tower movement (otherwise, it might break). The Tanabe minimizes the motion of one tower relative to the other (given pretensioning), not sure there's a better solution.

No difference!
It's pretty hard to identify a difference in the structure of the 2008-10 and the 2011. That's probably because they're both xB2's. Outside of the interior differences (instrument panel, steering column, center armrest, seat design), you're basically talking about the rear exhaust and the CAI air intake vent. The Tanabe Tower-Brace should be fine !
