18X7.5 42mm offset or 18X8.5 46mm offset
I know that width and offset questions are asked all the time, but I seem to only like wheels which strange offsets. Anyway, I've narrowed down the wheels, but haven't decided on size. My guess is the 8.5 inch wheel will fill the wheel wells better, but the 7.5 inch will be a little lighter. Anyway, I plan on running a 225/40 series tire, so just wondering what you all think.
oh, I can't find out how much they weigh. I'm looking at Work Emotion XT7 wheels. In the 7.5 inch there is a
+42mm and +35mm offset. In the 8.5 inch there is a +46mm and +38mm offset.

I think I might go with the 7.5 with a 35 offset. This would still fill up the wheel well and create as much of a concave face as I can since there is no lip on the wheel. Also, with a 225/40, there will still be some rubber to protect the wheel.
now I'm back to the 18X7.5 with 42mm offset. I'm thinking I'll run a spacer in the rear. The only thing I don't like about running staggered is not being able to rotate the tires.
