yes.. more likely it will.. but also depends on how low the car, tires, and alignment.. even 18x8 35 will rub

 

Stretch some 215/40 tires & pick up a set of Eibach front camber bolts to dial in some negative camber, and you should be able to pull it off. Maybe a little fender rolling also.

 

yeah i have the camber kit, and im going to run a 215/40 im just wondering if im going to have to bang in the fender well w/ a hamer for extra clearance, trying to get my mind prepaired. im use to doing this on old cars not new ones. :scared:

 

A fender roller and heat gun make it a lot easier & less stressful.

IIRC the inside liner is just plastic, not metal. I don't think it would be a rubbing problem as long as you clear the fender itself. The times I've seen liner clearance problems are when people go with over-sized tires to get some sidewall height back on + sized wheels.
