I have a bone stock Crimson Mica xB need help deciding between Starburst or Full Moon hubcaps. Ideas?

Also wanna know the best place to purchase them.

I tried full moon hub caps for a while but the metal retainers make a ton of noise, they were always creaking. They also would work their way out, you have to keep pushing them back into your wheels. They also stick out alot.


Then I tried the pizza pan DIY style. I riveted aluminum disks to my stock hub caps. I filled the edges with RTV black and painted them gun metal. These were so much better than the full moons and I got slightly better mpg from the aero improvement.

I love the diy full moons. But also like the look of chrome trim rings my xB is crimson mica and i dont wanna take a way from the color of the car. Id really like to have the stock alloys but cant bear the price tag.....need more ideas

I got my current wheels off craigslist.

It looks like there are some decent looking 16's on the Chicago craigslist right now. These Kia Sportage ones are okay looking.
