Default Which Brake Pads and Rotors to get??

Hello all I wanted to change my brake pads and rotors to drill slotted, however I don't know which model and brand to go with. I want great stops and low brake dust. Thank you for your replies!

For pads people buy anything from TRD to EBC. Look into Stoptech, DBA and Brembo's OEM line for rotors.

You can find the Brembo OEM blanks from Tire Rack. I got some for my Z4 from them for like 75 bucks for the pair. Nice solid rotors.

I know you said you want "drill slotted" rotors, I'm just curious why.

Not trying to argue or flame, but in my past research and experience, if good stopping is what you're after, you're going to notice the biggest difference with steel braided lines, and pads. Since I'm driving an Xb, I haven't found the need to spend the money on this yet. Although I'll be in the market for new pads, and later rotors, in the future.

With that said, I'm curious what pads people have experience with. Low-dust is a must however.

Yeah, sorry they didn't have any, I haven't looked for brakes in a couple of years. Guess they only have the Brembo for the BMW and other euro cars. I did notice they have the Brembo for the RAV 4 so they just don't make it for the XB, unless maybe you find a cross reference and get same matching size for the Xb and other Toyota model, Corolla or Matrix maybe, I think they use the exact same rotors.

I can't wait to do some kind of big brake upgrade.

Are you experiencing a problem with your OE brakes? Or are you just interested in a particular look?
