Default This forum is dead!

I've never seen such low activity on a car forum. For my G35 and 350Z the forums are super active!

I recently purchased an 08 XB in blue.. I want to see what it looks like on some 19 or 20's Dumped in gold and bronze color... do people just not modify these cars or what?

Yeah, I usually only post when really necessary.. I've been a member on here for a while now and lurk / search when I need something.

Maybe I should re-phrase "this sub-forum is dead" as in, look at the posts... The wheels SUB-FORUM has like 3 updates a day if that.

You don't consider that dead? Because that was my first post what I said was irrelevant?

This car is my cheapie daily driver...

I suppose.. when the 350z and G35 first came out man people had them dumped on coilovers and volks / j-lines / hre's / Work's right away!

Perhaps since it's more of a budget-minded car people just don't have the disposable income.. I suppose i'll become a pioneer. Well hey I was the first person to supercharge the G35 (sponsored by Vortech years ago), which then got ditched for a twin turbo APS kit..

I think that wheels and tires are a very major mod for anyone's budget. I mean it's alot cheaper to change your stock speakers or solder in some LED's,, But forking out a grand or 2 on WHEELS & TIRES... Now that's gonna set alot of people back some bucks!!!! probally not a lot of owners lining up to change them out right away.. I think that's why the activity here in the sub forum is slow...
Major Expense.....
Your 350Z cronies have the bucks to buy those cars, well they parobally got the bucks to throw down for wheels & tires too..
Most of us here who shelled out 17K for these xB's.. probally dont have the budget for such an expense right away & are opting for less expensive mods..
My opinion only..... If you want to see what your xBs looks like with your choice of wheels . go here....

good luck & we look foward to seeing YOUR xB2 with YOUR new wheels,.... jh

True. some don't have the income to upgrade yet, some just don't want to upgrade all that much. Take a look around, you'll find more than a few with wheels, but most would be in the budget price range, not the volk/hre/work $$$$ range - I won't on this car. I plan to adhere to the "not to exceed more than 10-15% of the cars price" for wheels 'rule' when I get around to upgrading, but that's just me.

- and you won't find too many dumped as these first few months have been sparse with the suspension mods available - no coilovers, just TRD springs providing a minor drop.

Not to say that there aren't any hardcore guys out there. If you want dumped on 20's, look for "Island Motor Sports/SST", and the users superman808 and eight08customs. Also randode and his custom setups . . .

btw, what board did you come over from? motoring or my350?

Let us know what those look like.... you may have to drop further just to get away from the rollerskate look... I have a hard time with some of the 20's I've seen, as no one has really dropped the car enough to make it work... You may want to try the tanabe DF's as they get more than the TRDs little drop, or maybe try the S-Techs when they come out...

narkotic... there is hardly anything out for the xB2 yet, and not many who have them yet as well... as more comes out for the car, more will be posted up for sure.

Wheels are Wheels... In time people will start slapping everything and anything on these things, but I'm in no rush to see anything much in regards to the shoes we can put on them... it's all the more unique and developed for the xB2 items I'm waiting for.

I was around when the 1st gen came out.... It builds up.... It just takes more owners to get them and more mods to come out.
