K so a few months ago my friend handed me some X-runner 18x8x42 rims. they were silver one painted black and other half painted. He did not sand them well so i spent 4 hours each rim sanding them down for perfection.

threw on some federal 245x40x18's and bam :-D

Those look great! The fit is superb... I'm personally not a fan of the black on black though.

 

You were able to put 245's up front on a DF drop with no rubbing at all?

Have you turned lock-to-lock while moving slowly?

No rubbing on bumps or dips?

Looks great, just really surprised they fit up front.

I'd also be interested in hearing what happens to your mpg, after you've run a few tanks through it.

 

225x40x18 TYPE-O LOL... ya it will kill the mpg but its already bad... 23-24 city/highway mix. lol

Damn i was hoping those were 245's cause I want to go with 235's. That looks really good! I like the look a lot!

 

235's will fit up front with no problems, depending on your drop & wheel offset.

 

d210's and the offset is 42. i dont think im going any bigger

 

According to the #'s you should be fine. The only thing you have to watch out for is that some tires either have a slightly larger diameter (Falken 912's for example) or wider tread than the numeric tire specs calculate out to.

 

some of my friends are super fat and 6'5 ill stick to what i got lol.

 

the wheels are actually a 18x8 with +32 offset..

They fit flush on all 4 corners and they rub very slightly in the rear when going over a dip quickly.

they are not hard to find, off any Tacoma X-runner... you will just have to paint them your self.. or be rich and have someone do it
