dude, does anyone know the maximum ratio I can use on 18x8's in 215 or225 perhaps?

I want this much side wall, just not this much width!

Let me know what the offset is on the wheels you're planning on (based on 18x8 size) and what drop you're on, and I can give you the answer to what tire size will work w/o rubbing while still giving you the most sidewall height.

If you're looking at a different wheel size than 18x8, I will need to know that also.

Konig Countersteer's (coughte37knockoffscough)

the 18.7.5 -5x114.3 with a 45mm offset and a 73.1 hub bore.

the redline verisons... I'm told they fit...

I actually wanted the bronze A LOT more, but it seems they only come in 17, and 18 already limits my aftermarket brake options (which right now I understand to be the K-sports and the TRD)

and the REAL version of this rim only comes bronze in 19... and is so far outside my price range its laughable!

but yeah, those rims. on a stock 08 xB,which may one day get NF210s and sway bars. and nothing more extreme.

What about the Rota Grids? Same rim but I think they have them in different sizes.

Holy crap I looked on Ksports site and you could go with a 16'' rotor front and rear with their kits??? Sick!

You can run 215/45-18 tires without any rubbing on this offset with the NF210 springs. 225/40 would be the standard, but the 215/45 will give you the extra sidewall height you're looking for. Your speedo will be off a tiny bit, but it doesn't sound like you're as worried about that.

and @ cionide, can I have the speedo recalibrated later?

I've never heard of anybody doing it on the xB, and I don't think the difference would be enough to warrant it.

I think the tire and wheel calculator will help you understand what the resultant changes from stock would be, just plug in the OEM dims, and the dims of whatever wheels & tires you want to look at:

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp

Keep in mind that the stock wheels are 16"x6.5" with +45 offset, and the tires are 205/55x16".

Have fun playing with the calculator/comparer!
