I have a spare set of 16x7 16x8 wheels from my MR2... same bolt pattern, good offsets. will the stock tires fit onto these rims okay? i hate hubcaps.

 

The 16x7 and 16x8 wheels came stock on your MR2 and you want to know if they will fit on your 2nd Gen xB using the tires that came stock on your xB?

 

205/55/16 tires might fit on those 8" rims but putting an 8" wide tire on a 8" rim isn't ideal. The 7" fronts will be fine. You should consider running larger tires on the rear rims. 225/50/16 would be a good match.

oh no, the 16x7 16x8 are a really nice set of JDM wheels I had for the MR2. They werent the OEM ones though.

I want to know if the 08 XB stock tires will fit on them. Thanks for the reply ScionFred. What do you think Travis? The hubcaps REALLY bother me.

 

For proper fitment Fred is correct, the Fronts would be fine they will fit on the 16x7's no problem for the rears it would be better to find a pair of 225.50.16 or 235.50.16's
