Default I know this is bass ackwards but.......

I am wanting to get a little more ground clearince from my Xb.. I was wondering is it possible to put a taller tire like a 215/60/16 or taller on the stock wheels or will they rub? I saw a lifted Xb on here some place (cant find it now) but thats a little more than what I really want to do.

you could go about it that way, but your speedometer will start to read lower than your actual speed.

why do you want to raise the ground clearance? are you bottoming out or something.

That tire size will fit fine on stock steelies as long as you haven't dropped it real low, which I'm guessing you haven't since ground clearance is your concern. Also keep in mind that you're now talking about putting more unsprung rotational weight out farther from the hub center, so be careful of the tire weight or you will trash your gas mileage.

Thanks Guys for the info, I am not wanting to go wild on the tire size and I have not lowered her at all. I need the clearance because I work extra jobs around alot of construction areas so somtimes I need to get my Box up over a curb or two.. I do not jump curbs I just have to get closer to the area being built some times. Once again thanks for the help.

No Way!!!!! LOL lol I just got my little box and love it.. I dont go off road with it as in 4X4 mud slinging, but if your working security over a large construction area its nice to be able to get up to the high ground. This ride fits 95% of my life and with an inch or two more of ground clearance it will fit 100%. To me it would be like buying a truck cause I need to pull a small motorcycle trailer.. Dont need a truck just a hitch for my box ..
