so my 18's should be getting here soon, and i'm going to be in the market for some new tires. i'm looking for a set of 225/40/18 and was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions. i'm not looking for a high performance tire, just something with decent tread wear, a quiet ride, a lip protector would be nice, and a decent price. any input (especially links ) would be appreciated.

 

I don't think you can go wrong with the Falken ZE-912. This tire is a new replacement for their award winning ZE-512. They're currently $84 each for your size at edgeracing.com. Edge Racing is Miami based, so pick up should be an option for you. I've run the ZE-512 before without complaint, the 912's should be even better. And they do have a rim protector.
